This Week on TV (4/14-4/20)

Real World Hollywood

(You can view TV Envy’s Post-Strike Television Schedule here.)

MONDAY (4/14)

  • Bones (FOX, 8pm):  New episode.  “When a motorcycle racer’s remains are discovered in a national park, Brennan and Booth hunt for his killer.”  I hear this is a great show.  I just wish Angel wasn’t flirting with a new woman.
  • One Tree Hill (CW, 9pm):  New episode.  “Lucas tries to deal with being left at the altar.”  He’ll find comfort in the arms of a young blonde thing later.
  • Rules of Engagement (CBS, 9:30pm):  New episode.  “Adam and Jennifer go on a vacation with Jeff and Audrey, but first they have to endure a time share sales pitch.”  What do I get if I endure the show?
  • Medium (NBC, 10pm):  “Kelly Preston guest stars as venture capitalist Meghan Doyle, who strikes up a professional and personal connection with Joe.”  Anjelica Huston, Rosanna Arquette and now Kelly Preston.  Is this the channel?

This Week on TV (3/24-3/30)

The Hills

(You can view TV Envy’s Post-Strike Television Schedule here.)

MONDAY (3/24)

  • How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30):  The overly-promoted Britney Spears cameo finally airs tonight.  Let’s just be happy the show is only 30-minutes long.
  • Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (CW, 9pm):  Nicole Scherzinger gives the girls tips on vocal expression.  Sadly, advice on releasing solo albums is not something she can dish out.
  • CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm):  New episode.  “A bride is murdered at her wedding.  The investigation takes the CSIs to a strip club where the bachelor party took place.”  Strip club? This would be the perfect time for another Elizabeth Berkley appearance.
  • The Hills (MTV, 10pm):  Season premiere.  I wonder if LC wore any of her own designs in Paris.  Doubt it.

This Week on TV (12/10-12/16)

The Hills

MONDAY (12/10)

  • (ABC, 8pm):  “Linus and Lucy’s little brother, Rerun, hangs with Snoopy and his own sibling, the desert-dwelling Spike.”  Was I the only one not aware of the What’s Happening!/Peanuts crossover episode?
  • (CBS, 8pm):  “Ted asks his doctor on a date and his friends try to discourage him from dating someone he sees regularly.”  Relationships clearly work best when you never see them at all.
  • (ABC, 9:30pm):  “Lauren tries to convince her sister to move to LA so she can be nearby when the baby is born.”  Lauren’s sister isn’t stupid.  She knows what ‘be nearby’ means.
  • (MTV, 10pm): Season finale.  “Lauren gets an offer to go to Paris.”  I really hope doesn’t take their version of quality programming overseas (again).  The French hate us already.

Singer George Michael To Appear on ABC Show

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, ABC

George MichaelAlmost 10 years after his infamous public bathroom arrest, George Michael will once again be appearing on American television sets—but this time, he won’t be the subject of a news report.  The singer is scheduled to appear in ABC’s mid-season drama, Eli Stone.

Stone stars (a.k.a. ex-husband #1) as a man who suffers hallucinations and believes he might be a prophet.  (Seeing visions of George Michael singing ‘Faith’ will do that to a guy.)  Although Michael was originally scheduled to be in the pilot only, the producers have since asked him to sing and act in two more episodes.

Interestingly enough, George told the BBC recently that he has been unsuccessful in giving up his marijuana habit.  I wonder what ABC’s parent company (Disney) will think about that news…
