Here’s an update on the shows you will and won’t be seeing in the months to come:
CANCELLATIONS
- Dollhouse (FOX) - All 13 episodes will make it to air.
- Eastwick (ABC) - All 13 episodes will make it to air.
- Hank (ABC) - Already pulled from schedule.
EXTENSIONS
- The Forgotten (ABC) - Five more episodes ordered
RENEWALS
- She’s Got the Look (TV Land) - Season 3
- Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (Bravo) - Season 6

Wednesday Ratings: A Win-Win for New York and FOX

Last night’s baseball game ended in a victory for both the New York Yankees and the network. Wednesday’s finale helped bring the overall series average to 19.4 million viewers.
8pm
- Game 6 of the World Series (7.4/20 in 18-49) drew in 22.3 million.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (2.1/6) was good for 7 million; Gary Unmarried (2.0/5) registered 6.7 million.
- Mercy (1.7/5) checked in 6.6 million.
- Hank (1.4/4) nailed down 5.3 million; The Middle (2.0/5) drummed up 6.1 million.
- America’s Next Top Model (4 million, 1.7/5) raised 500,000 more.

Wednesday Ratings: Criminal Minds Still Packs Punch

Despite competition from two buzzworthy shows (Modern Family, Glee) and an NBC vet (SVU), Criminal Minds remains strong. The drama helped CBS win with the viewers and tie FOX in the demos last night.
8pm
- Mercy (7.3 million, 2.0/6 in 18-49) remained even with last week.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7 million, 2.1/6) was off 500,000; Gary Unmarried (6.4 million, 2.2/6) lost 1 million.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6.8 million, 2.6/8) fell by 300,000.
- Hank (5.8 million, 1.5/5) was down 400,000; The Middle (6.4 million, 2.0/6) gave up 300,000.
- America’s Next Top Model (3.1 million, 1.4/4) did the same.

Wednesday Ratings: Modern Family a Modern Hit

FOX isn’t the only network that should be feeling gleeful. ABC’s freshman series, Modern Family, was only ranked behind CBS’ two dramas for the most viewers last night. The comedy also tied Criminal Minds for the evening’s best demos.

- The New Adventures of Old Christine (2.2/7 in 18-49) roped up 7.5 million; Gary Unmarried (2.4/7) pulled in 7.4 million.
- Mercy (2.0/6) turned in 7.3 million.
- So You Think You Can Dance (2.8/8) lured in 7.1 million.
- Hank (1.8/5) attracted 6.2 million; The Middle (2.0/6) delivered 6.7 million.
- America’s Next Top Model (1.4/4) scored 3.1 million.

Season premieres: County Jail, Lie to Me, Trauma
- Trauma (NBC, 9pm): “A medical drama focusing on the first-responder paramedics at a San Francisco hospital and the extreme dangers they face to save lives.” It’s like a “very special episode” of ER...every…week.
- Unwrapped (FOOD, 9pm): “The making of bacon ice cream at Delaware s Woodside Farm Creamery.” Hot bacon sundaes can be topped off with bacon bits and/or bacon grease.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): “The lab is attacked and new CSI Jesse Cardoza is taken hostage along with four other people.” Unfortunately, the newbie wasn’t eligible for his hostage compensation benefits yet.
