Sofia Vergara has been named the highest paid US TV actress for a second year running.
The Modern Family star reportedly earned a whopping $30 million between June 2012 and June 2013, from both her role on the hit sitcom and numerous endorsement deals, which is more than double the income of her closest rival, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress Mariska Hargitay. The Colombian beauty is thought to have commanded big bucks from mega-deals with companies including Diet Pepsi and Kmart due to her popularity in Latin America, a growing market in the business world. Sofia, 38, has her own clothing line with supermarket chain Kmart - for which she was paid a staggering $7 million advance - as well as deals with the soft drinks company, furniture chain Rooms to Go, cosmetics brand Covergirl, Comcast, State Farm Insurance and more.
The brunette beauty's $30 million windfall puts her comfortably ahead of Mariska, 49, who earned $11 million over the last year, according to financial magazine Forbes.

Oprah Winfrey says Kim Kardashian's explanation for her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries "leveled" her.
An interview by the media mogul with the entire Kardashian clan television stars is due to air on Sunday on her network OWN.
Oprah has revealed that the 31-year-old's split from the basketball player in October will be addressed in the program, Oprah's Next Chapter. "Everyone who's asked was the marriage a publicity stunt? Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me," she wrote on her Facebook page.
Oprah hinted more about what will feature in the one-hour chat: "I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon, why so many people love to watch their every move and why so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really 'famous for being famous' or is there something more?"

Kardashian Sisters Want You to Watch Them, Their Show

I’m not sure if this is one of E!‘s smartest promos yet, or the channel’s biggest waste of time.
Since Keeping Up With the Kardashians is apparently entering its fourth season, someone - for some reason - is watching this program already. But then, I guess no one’s really tuning in to hear these girls talk, right?
Oh - and in case you didn’t notice: the show returns on December 13th. (It says it there in the fine print on the bottom.)
