Project Runway Goes LA

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Cable, News

DescriptionApparently supermodels really like a good change.

First, Tyra Banks decided to move her daytime talk fest from Los Angeles to New York.  Now, is scheduled to do the exact opposite.  Though in the latter case, the switch will not be permanent.

According to Entertainment Weekly, ‘s sixth outing will be split between NYC and LA.  This city-hopping move will apparently accommodate Klum’s personal and work schedules much better (but make everyone else’s a living hell).  The following year, things will return back to normal in New York.

As for the reality hit’s fifth season - the last one on - that too will still be set in the Big Apple.  That installment can be seen starting this July.

Anchors Away on Anchorwoman

Anchorwoman Lauren JonesTired of reality shows that try to have some sort of class? Want your trashy TV to be up front and bold? Check out Anchorwoman, a new reality series from none other than FOX. Struggling KYTX in Tyler, Texas needs ratings. What better way to get them than to hire a blonde, babealicious bombshell? Enter , model, WWE Diva-wannabe, and ditzy hottie – and let the reality TV begin.

Okay, so she doesn’t have any experience with the news. No big deal…right? From the fast paced party scene of LA, Lauren arrives in the small Texas town with a tank top, stilettos, and an apparent burning desire to become an Anchorwoman. Horror-stricken, her new co-workers look on with confusion and concern. Existing anchor for the station Annalisa Petralia expresses her own feelings clearly – dislike, immediate and absolute. Petralia’s opinion of Lauren isn’t good, saying that the sexy blonde undermines the station’s credibility and her own personal reputation. The station manager does his best to mediate, gently suggested to Jones that she go get her jacket (cleavage doesn’t read too well on the evening news).

Paris Hilton is a Prisoner

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Reality, Talent, Gossip

Paris Hilton It’s official: has now spent her first full day behind bars. The heiress was sentenced to jail time because of probation violations, though her original 45-day sentence was scaled back to 23 days in the slammer. Paris Hilton’s attorney, Richard A. Hutton, says the heiress is “doing well” in spite of her current incarceration.  He also went on to say that Hilton will use her jail time as a period of reflection to see how she can make the world better. If Paris really wanted to make the world better, she could make herself a positive role model for the young girls who worship her, and keep herself out of both jail and trouble…and skeezy outfits. Paris, accompanied by sister Nicky and mom Kathy, was taken to Men’s Central Jail in downtown L.A. at 11:15 pm in an attempt to foil the press and paparazzi who were just hoping to get a glimpse of the hotel heiress before she disappeared inside the building. Hilton was transported from the men’s jail sixteen miles to her new cell, where she will make a home for herself for the next three weeks. Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore called Hilton “cooperative and focused” and said there will be no further comments on the heiress until after she is released.
