Schedule Changes for Lost, How I Met Your Mother, House

In the past few days, more scheduling announcements have been made to mess with our heads.  While all the changes have been reflected in our convenient Post-Strike Television Schedule, here are a few of the highlights.

Josh Duhamel, Las Vegas

  • It’s been made official: Come April 24, will move from 9pm to 10pm on Thursdays.  This change will make room for the returns of Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty in their old slots.  (What this means for Eli Stone’s future is unclear.)
  • When returns on March 17th, it will be trading time slots with The Big Bang Theory.  (Mother will air @ 8:30, Bang @ 8:00.) Meanwhile, the fate of the Neil Patrick Harris comedy beyond this season is still undecided.
  • Monday night will eventually become a new home for Bones and House will begin airing new episodes on that day come April 14; Hugh Laurie and the gang will start anew on April 28 @ 9pm.
  • Certain shows like , Bionic Woman, Big Shots and Life is Wild have not been not granted post-strike episodes because they are not being renewed.  At all.
  • Other programs like , Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money and Private Practice won’t be seen again until next year.

Flavor of Love

(You can view the whole Revamped TV Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (2/11)

  • Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 8pm):  “Sarah meets a stranger () who shares a similar past.” They were once both white rappers?
  • Dance War (ABC, 8pm):  “The touring company of ‘High School Musical’ performs.” The contestants, now left with inferiority complexes, are unable to go on.
  • Flavor of Love (VH1, 9pm):  Third season premiere.  Is it a coincidence that a Flav-ex has since show up on ?
  • Prison Break (FOX, 8pm):  “The escape attempt is successful for some, if not all, of the escapees.” Apparently you can miss weeks of this show and not miss a thing.

Survivor Micronesia

(You can view the whole Revamped TV Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (2/4)

  • Welcome to the Captain (CBS, 8:30):  Series premiere.  “A Hollywood wunderkind in a career slump is persuaded by his friend to move into his famous Tinseltown apartment building with an eclectic group of tenants.” Eclectic = show gone soon.
  • Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 9pm):  “John discovers the figure may be bleaker than he imagined.” I’m confused.  If he’s currently in 2007, he should have already seen what the future looks like in .
  • The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS, 9:30):  Season Three premiere.  “Christine gets overly nervous about sleeping with Mr. Harris () for the first time.” I think I already saw this episode.....on .
  • Late Night With David Letterman (CBS, 11:30):  Hillary Clinton sits down with the talk show host.  Any woman who can make us forget deserves to be President.

Moment of Truth
(You can view the whole Revamped TV Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (1/21)

  • Prison Break (FOX, 8pm):  “T-Bag enlists Bellick to display his gladiatorial skills once again as the battle between Lechero and Sammy for control of Sona comes to a head.” If they can’t beat , FOX will encourage its characters fight like ‘em.
  • Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (ABC, 8pm):  “Viewers cast their first vote for their favorite teams after they perform live song-and-dance routines.” They’ve finally reached the phase I actually care about.
  • Wildfire (ABC Family, 9pm):  Season 4 premiere.  I have absolutely no idea what this show is about, but it sounds like a trashy romance novel.  Oh wait - this is a family channel.  Never mind.
  • Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 9pm):  “John and Cameron try to fit in a new school.” Is an education really the most important thing for John at this point?  Shouldn’t he be honing his street smarts or something?
