My Nagging Questions About Little House on the Prairie

Last fall, I took a moment to air a nagging question I had about Pushing Daisies. This time around, I have a list of thoughts concerning a show I’ve watched more times than I could possibly count.
When I was a young child, I became addicted to episodes of Little House on the Prairie. Now, thanks to the Hallmark Channel, I could continue watching the show at least 4x a day.
And while I love the program, years of watching the series have left me with a bunch of questions. Questions in some cases that could never be answered. I merely present my random musings to those who might enjoy a trip back through Walnut Grove.

Little House on the Prairie Hits the Stage

As a lifelong watcher of the show, I have to say there is something so wrong, yet so right, about this news.
Coming to Minneapolis later this summer is a stage version of Little House and the Prairie. In addition the Ingalls family, the musical, based off the the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, will feature Almanzo Wilder and love-to-hate her Nellie Olesen. The production will also include an exciting casting choice: Melissa Gilbert.
Gilbert, who played Laura Ingalls during the television series’ nine years, will challenge the audience by taking on an entirely different role. The 44-year-old actress will tightening up her bun to the play the family’s matriarch.
