Didn’t know Heather Locklear was moving back to Melrose Place? Apparently you weren’t the only who missed that invite. Locklear’s return to the famous address hardly raised an eyebrow last night. The CW program still pulled in under a 1.0 in the rating and trailed behind its lead-in.
8pm
- NCIS (20.2 million, 4.1/11 in 18-49) remained steady.
- V (9.3 million, 3.1/8) let another 1.4 million escape.
- The Biggest Loser (9.4 million, 3.7/10) lost 300,000.
- NBC’s Merry Madagascar (2.9/8) entertained 5 million.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6 million, 2.4/7) raised 200,000.
- 90210 (2.1 million, 1.1/3) did the same as last week.

Preview Heather Locklear’s Melrose Place Return
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Video
Who better to turn a dying show around than a skilled publicist?
In just three days, Heather Locklear will attempt to do what Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga couldn’t: bring Melrose Place ratings.
Will Amanda Woodward make audiences stand at attention like the staffers at WPK? Or will she be put in her place like that other blonde (Katie Cassidy). We’ll know soon enough.
You can watch Locklear’s return on Tuesday, November 17.

Ashlee Simpson Gets Naked in Upcoming Melrose Episode
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Video
Colin Egglesfield is spilling all the secrets now that he’s been ousted from Melrose Place - or, he just wants to make sure he gets plenty of exposure before he’s off the air. According to the actor who plays murder suspect Auggie Kirkpatrick, he and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz had to get practically naked to film one of their scenes together.
In the episode, the two are “both wearing half-loin clothes that they had to tape to us.” Tell me more! “There are very few clothes involved in the near future,” Egglesfield added.
According to an unnamed source - not Egglesfield - the pair will have two sex scenes in upcoming episodes. (Both actors will be leaving the series right around unlucky episode 13, so set your DVR).

Tuesday Ratings: V Comes Back to Earth
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Music, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Specials, Talk Shows, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Ratings
The novelty of aliens on Earth was bound to wear off sometime soon. After a spectacular debut just seven days ago, V fell 27% in the prime demos. Although that’s the largest Week 2 drop for any scripted show this season, the resulting number should still be pleasing to ABC.
8pm
- NCIS (20.1 million, 4.4/12 in 18-49) picked up 700,000.
- V (10.7 million, 3.8/10) lost 3.2 million.
- The Biggest Loser (9.7 million, 3.8/10) gained 700,000.
- So You Think You Can Dance (5.8 million, 2.3/6) slipped by 300,000.
- 90210 (2.1 million, 1.2/3) matched its season demo high.

MONDAY (11/9)
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): “Charlie and Alan wake up together…with a woman they don’t recognize.” Strange, but significantly less awkward than two and a half men.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): “Ray Langston of the Las Vegas crime lab arrives in Miami to investigate after a severed leg found in the Everglades is discovered to belong to a girl who disappeared in Las Vegas a week earlier.” Horatio + Morpheus = sunglasses showdown.
- Little People, Big World (TLC, 10pm): “Jake gets his own cell phone for his 12th birthday, and before long he racks up an outrageous bill, making Matt and Amy question whether he s ready for the responsibility.” The Learning Channel is not known for highlighting responsibility—in pre-teens or fathers of eight.

Tuesday Ratings: Americans Welcome the Visitors
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Talk Shows, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Ratings
Where were you when the visitors arrived last night? Yesterday’s highly-anticipated debut of V had the best 18-49 performance for any new series this season. Its audience numbers also came in right behind the premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles for freshman programs. Unfortunately, that one show couldn’t carry the whole network. CBS still won in the viewers and had a tight victory in the demos.
8pm
- NCIS (19.4 million, 4.2/11 in 18-49) was the most-watched program last night.
- V (13.9 million, 5.0/13) had the best demos of the evening.
- The Biggest Loser (9 million, 3.4/9) hit its lowest 18-49 mark this season.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6.1 million, 2.4/6) lost 400,000.
- 90210 (1.1/3) clocked in 2.1 million.

Jessica Simpson Angrily Twitters @Melrose
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Video

“who writes this crap?” Jessica Simpson recently demanded of her Twitter-reading audience, after noting that “CW catching up on MP.” That stands for Melrose Place, the show which recently fired Jess’ little sister Ashlee (and after they pimped her out as their main promo, too).
“i have had bad scripts to work with, but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press.” Simpson continued to fire away.

Colin Egglesfield on His Melrose Move
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors, Spoilers, Video
“I’ve had better days, to be quite honest,” Colin Egglesfield, the resident hot guy on Melrose Place, sat down recently to talk about his departure from the show - a decision he says took him by surprise.
The CW has claimed that it was part of the show’s plan all along to be rid of both Egglesfield and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who will also be leaving Melrose Place. Egglesfield, however, tells a different story. “Obviously the ratings aren’t what they need or want them to be, so they’re [the network] going to try things to shake things up.”
