On tonight’s finale of The Bachelor, Tom Bergeron - with help from former contestant Melissa Rycroft - revealed the newest competitors of Dancing with the Stars.
For the program’s tenth outing, only 11 celebrities will compete for the mirror ball trophy—that’s down from the overloaded 16-contestant season last fall. Do Not Disturb Becomes First Fall Cancellation
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, FOX, Cancellations,
Well, at least this will give Jerry O’Connell time to focus on becoming a new father.
After only three episodes. FOX’s Do Not Disturb has become the first casualty of the fall season. The show - which was only watched by only 3.5 million this Wednesday - has already been pulled off the schedule. As of October 1, the network will air a one hour block of ‘Til Death (1 original, 1 repeat) for the time being.
While it’s doubtful the show would have succeeded in any circumstance (the producers already acknowledged that the first episode was simply “bad television”), the series never stood a chance during its assigned time slot. Seriously - did FOX honestly think a freshman program could survive against Criminal Minds, Private Practice and Project Runway?

MONDAY (6/30)
- American Gladiators (NBC, 8pm): “Four amateur athletes who successfully lost weight are featured.” That’s exactly the way Wolf likes them: nice and skinny.
- The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All (ABC, 9pm): “Fifteen of DeAnna’s suitors dish with - and about - the Bachelorette who let them get away.” Thankfully, this version is not the one we would get on MTV.
- 46664: A Concert for Nelson Mandela (VH1, 9pm): Those helping to celebrate Mandela’s life outside bars include performers who should be behind them (e.g. Amy Winehouse).
- Verminators (Discovery, 10pm): “The source of a roach infestation at an apartment building shocks Mike.” There’s a reason why they say ignorance is bliss.
