returned to TV last night after a long mid-season break. For days, the promos titillated us, promising more drama, more twists and more shock. Did last night’s episode deliver?

After finding out that ’s Brenda Walsh can’t have kids (and might adopt - yowzah!), former druggie Adrianna Duncan (played by Jessica Lowndes) is preggers, half-brother Sean (Josh Henderson) was really a con man and that the cute cheerleader Christina Worthy (Lauren London) is a bisexual, it’s hard to imagine there could be more.

But rest assured, 90210 fans…there will be more.

Aguilera, Richie Share Same Delivery Date

UPDATE: Christina Aguilera reports on her own website that her son, Max Liron Bratman, was actually born on Saturday.

Thanks to Britney Spears’ hospitalization and overdosed babies, LA’s Cedars-Sinai hospital has been receiving a lot of unwanted publicity lately.  Hopefully two highly-anticipated deliveries at the facility yesterday will (temporarily) direct the media’s attention toward other celebrity matters.

  • Celebutante and boyfriend welcomed a a 6 lb., 7 oz. baby Friday.  (This birth officially brings Richie’s weight back down to “0”.) The girl, named Harlow Winter Kate Madden, is the first child for both star, 26, and the rocker, 28.  Plans for a wedding will be set at a later time.
  • Same place, different time.  E! Online is reporting that singer , 27, and husband , 30, are also proud new parents.  According to a text message sent out yesterday, the couple welcomed their child sometime around 4pm yesterday.  No other details have yet been released.

In other baby news, actress (According to Jim) and her husband, Roger Fishman, introduced a son Friday: Jacob Emerson Fishman.  One day prior, (In Living Color) and his wife, Christine Y. Kim, said hello to daughter Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim.  Both couples are first-time parents.

Pamela Anderson Denies Pregnancy Rumors

The star issued a very short and sweet statement in response to the pregnancy rumors now surfacing: “No.” The denial was posted in Pamela Anderson’s blog, a disavowal of the big Internet news that she and hubby are expecting. In a recent interview, Anderson said she’ll not have any more kids.

Anderson from Salomon in December but changed her mind shortly thereafter, according to reports. Though Anderson maintains she and Salomon are working on their relationship, the divorce petition has not been withdrawn. Anderson has also recently hinted that she may have a TV project in the works with channel E! - though she says she won’t ever do a show.

Pamela Anderson Pregnant Yet Divorcing

Pamela Anderson, Rick SalomonWe have now reached the next phase of the strange Anderson/Salomon saga.

As we reported last month, actress filed for divorce from , her freshly minted husband.  But only days after submitting the paperwork, things were put on hold.  The buxom blonde appeared to have a change of heart and blogged that she and Rick were “working things out.”  Well, less than a month later, it seems that a reconciliation is no longer in the works.  Since her Dec. 17th post, not one reference has been made about the (in)significant other.

Let’s make it clear, no one ever imagined the beauty and - what exactly does he do? - porn tape co-star would last as a couple.  So it should not be surprising that the divorce is apparently proceeding as planned.  But here’s the latest twist:  it is now being reported that the magician’s assistant is also pregnant.

Can the demise of the marriage be blamed on the vegetarian bun in the oven?  Was it the phrase ‘Shannen Doherty’ on Rick’s marital resume?  Did and/or threaten to smack him up?  Who knows.  Let’s just hope Pamela can soon learn to discard men like she has meat.

The Rise And Fall Of Britney Spears: Who’s To Blame?

The Evolution of Britney SpearsForget about and . The year 2007 belonged to . And not in a, “Hey, Britney Spears is the sexiest women alive and sold a lot of records” kind of way. No, it’s more like, “Hey, Britney Spears split from her back-up dancer husband, had her disgusting hoo-ha and c-section scar plastered all over the internet, shaved all her hair off, lost custody of her children and had a comeback performance/album that bombed.” Yeah, she’s had that kind of year. And frankly, I’m pretty freakin’ tired of seeing her face every time I turn on the TV or go online and having to listen to every step of the “Britney custody saga” reported as legitimate news.

This woman is a disaster. Let’s make that point very clear from the outset. She is clearly a very unstable woman in need of some very serious help, and she’s not getting it. And now that it’s being reported that yet another member of the Spears clan has her tin-roof rusted, I think we need to take a step back and take a look at the big picture. Who is really to blame for the downfall of one of the biggest names and faces in, not only music, but pop culture as a whole? Who is responsible for the destruction of Britney Spears?

Spears Mom Parenting Book Nixed

Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriendAll those moms out there just hoping to get advice from famous mom Lynne Spears will just have to talk to her one-on-one – her parenting book has been canceled.  (The publishers say they have “postponed the book indefinitely.”)  Why anyone thought Lynne Spears would be a good role model for a parenting book is beyond me anyway, but with the news that Britney’s (at the age of 16), Lynne’s parenting skills are no longer marketable.

Jamie Lynn, star of , plans to keep her child though she is “shocked and scared.”  The book, which was to be titled Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, was set to hit the shelves on Mother’s Day 2008.

16-Year-Old Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant

Jamie Lynn SpearsWow.  Wow.  Somewhere is breathing a sigh of relief right now…

If tumultuous year wasn’t quite enough for her mother, her younger sister has now officially put the icing on the cake.  , the 16-year-old star of Zoey 101, is pregnant. 

The network confirmed the news in a statement issued today:

“We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

Well, at least Preston and Jayden will now have another kid to hang out with when their mommy goes shopping.

Scott Baio….No Longer Single

Scott BaioAs we mentioned back in August, Charles in Charge’s had enough personal issues to fill another season of programming.  Now we have a better idea what we will see when his life unfolds for the cameras again next month.

The famous playboy, and star of , had spent the duration of his summer show trying to figure out if he was finally ready for marriage.  With the help of a life coach, Baio dealt with a myriad of issues from his past relationships.  Although he was known for cheating on most of his high-profile romances, it truly seemed that he was on the road to commitment by the series’ final episode.  Unfortunately, that was also when his girlfriend, Renee Sloan, decided to drop a bombshell on him:  he was gonna be a daddy.

Several months later, Scott is now the father of a baby girl…and a newlywed.  The nuptials - which took place in Los Angeles just this past weekend - will be documented in Season 2 when it premieres this January.  No word yet whether the show will be retitled to reflect Baio’s current status.

Nicole Richie: All Grown Up?

Nicole RichieStrange things happen to women when they get pregnant, but it’s hard not to look at some celebs with a cynical eye. How is it possible, for instance, that a party girl and troublemaker, reality star and celebutante, could suddenly become a responsible adult? Believe it or not, Nicole Richie seems ready to accept that role.

The expectant starlet recently delayed her wedding to boyfriend (and father-to-be) Joel Madden, but she’s moving forward with other areas of her life. Now that she’s going to be a mother herself, Nicole is looking for a way to bury the hatchet with her biological parents, people she’s had a rocky relationship with from the age of three. Nicole plans to open up about her biological parents in an upcoming interview, and hopes to pave the way for a future relationship.  Meanwhile, the postponed nuptials will take place after the birth of her baby - the sex of which Richie has opted to not learn.

Once, she was a sidekick to frenemy Paris Hilton. Now, she’s a young mother-to-be doing her best to bridge the gap between her past and the future. Unbelievably, it looks like Miss Richie is finally growing up.

Dancing With The Stars: Week 3 Loser

Wayne NewtonHaving never broken past the 20-point mark, Wayne Newton and his dancing shoes were finally put to rest on tonight.  Despite being paired with two-time winner , Mr. Las Vegas could never quite find his groove.  But he was a charmer up until the very end, even when he was forced to don a silly ponytail and mustache.

Although was technically the next lowest scorer last night (he scored a 20; Newton an 18), he once again dodged the Bottom Two.  It was ‘pretty boy’ who narrowly missed getting a ticket home tonight.  Let’s just hope for pouty Karina’s sake he can polish his technique by next week.
