Sneak Peek: Glee Covers Papa Don’t Preach
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Music, Prime Time, FOX, Spoilers, Video
When you heard Glee was going to devote an entire episode to songs from Madonna, which tracks did you envision them singing?
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, actress Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) revealed her dream cover would be the dance hit “Ray of Light.” Meanwhile, she chose “Material Girl” for Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), “Open Your Heart” for Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) and “Frozen” for Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang)—since that was when Madonna was at her “most Goth place.” She also selected “Vogue” for Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) because she figured it would allow the wheelchair-bound character to use his hands.
Until their actual songs are revealed, you can watch this preview of actress Dianna Agron (pregnant cheerleader Quinn Fabray) doing a rendition of “Papa Don’t Preach.”

Preview Heather Locklear’s Melrose Place Return
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Video
Who better to turn a dying show around than a skilled publicist?
In just three days, Heather Locklear will attempt to do what Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga couldn’t: bring Melrose Place ratings.
Will Amanda Woodward make audiences stand at attention like the staffers at WPK? Or will she be put in her place like that other blonde (Katie Cassidy). We’ll know soon enough.
You can watch Locklear’s return on Tuesday, November 17.

VIDEO: Preview Season 5 of The Hills

Apparently I didn’t need to watch Laguna Beach to know that I’m not a Kristin Cavallari fan. (That said - I’m also not a Lo fan, a Stephanie fan, a Brody fan…)
Based on this preview, I now know everything I need to about the upcoming season of The Hills: Justin Bobby had his cowboy hat stolen by Spencer Pratt, Kristin (Lauren’s replacement) is kinda like herpes and Heidi Montag will not be a mother anytime soon (thank goodness).
If you feel compelled to find out more, tune in to MTV on Tuesday, September 29th.

Preview ABC’s New Version of V
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, Video
And you thought “reimaginings” were just something they did on the big screen…
Later next season, ABC will resurrect one of the classic sci fi tales from my youth. V, a hugely popular miniseries from 1983, will get new life in a new era and on a new network. This second attempt as a full series (NBC had its version in 1984) will once again introduce seemingly peaceful aliens to the inhabitants of Earth. But what do these “visitors” really want from our planet? And are they really reptilians in disguise?
And a note to all you Lost fans out there: Just because you see actress Elizabeth Mitchell (Erica Evans) in these clips doesn’t mean Juliet is gone for good. In fact, Entertainment Weekly claims Sawyer’s (deceased?) love will be seen again next year.
V is scheduled to premiere sometime midseason…just like Lost.

Preview the Mystery of Harper’s Island
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, CBS, Video
Like getting caught up in a murder mystery? Love knowing when it will all end?
Starting this Thursday, CBS will introduce a series unlike any other crime drama on its network. Don’t expect answers to come at the end of the first hour. The big reveal will actually happen over two months later.
A week-long celebration on Harper’s Island, a fictional island near Seattle, will consist of blood and screams rather than rice and laughter. One person will murdered each week during the show’s 13-episode run.
Not sure if you want to invest more time in another whodunit? Preview the teaser above and the others after the jump. If you want to see more, tune in this Thursday @ 10pm.
