Paula AbdulSimon Cowell has made it clear many times over that he doesn’t want to do American Idol without , and her ongoing and up-and-down contract negotiations with the show have been well-publicized. So…is she really, really leaving, or is this just another tactic to get more money?

Even though Sarah Connor has managed to get itself off the renewal bubble, there’s a list of others shows out there still aiming to get their golden tickets.

Believing there’s nothing wrong with a bit of promotional overkill, How I Met Your Mother will be looking to once again milk something out of their celebrity cash cow.  (No pun intended.)  According to People, a source reports that will indeed make another appearance on the comedy.  Her first stint on the CBS series helped give the show its highest ratings ever.

Now if this latest publicity stunt doesn’t get the network to renew HIMYM once and for all, I don’t know what will.  Will Jason Segel need to go full frontal?  I’ve seen .  I know he’d do it.
