As we already know, Kim Zolciak wouldn’t even be a one-hit wonder if it wasn’t for Kandi Burruss’ masterful work. But what would “Tardy for the Party” really sound like if it wasn’t overproduced? Listen closely to the video above and you’ll find out.

If you can bear to watch, you’ll also get to catch some of Kim’s fine dance moves as well.

Real World Packs Bags for Washington D.C.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Cable, MTV

The White HouseA few weeks ago I said the Real Housewives franchise was coming dangerously close to becoming the next Real World. Who knew it was actually the other way around?

Weeks before the launch of Season 22, the producers of the MTV series announced their newest destination: Washington, D.C. That’s the same location Housewives will be hitting up next. Has President Obama started a trend?

“Young people have never been more engaged in what’s happening in this country and Washington, D.C., is the perfect place for cast to express their opinions and pursue their passions,” executive producer Jonathan Murray said in a statement.

Look for the nation’s capital edition to debut sometime in 2010. Meanwhile, Real World: Cancun premieres on June 24.

Real Housewives Moving to Washington D.C.

Bravo logoAs if the nation’s capital needed any more drama.

- in an apparent attempt to dilute The Real Housewives franchise like MTV with The Real World - has just put out its feelers for a new city. Today, the cable channel announced that it’s heading further east.

“We’re tapping personalities who are among Washington D.C.‘s influential players, cultural connoisseurs, fashion sophisticates and philanthropic leaders - the people who rub elbows with the most prominent people in the country and easily move in the city’s diverse political and social circles,” Frances Berwick, Bravo Media’s Executive Vice President and General Manager said.

Casting for The Real Housewives of D.C. is still underway. Those with a pulse on the “most important” events around the city and are knowledgable about issues including fashion and economics are being sought after.

Previous installments of the popular docu-series have explored the Orange County, New York and Atlanta regions. debuted several weeks ago.

Real Housewives Takes on Atlanta

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Cable, News

The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Apparently ‘real housewives’ exist everywhere…

An announcement made by Bravo today had me intrigued yet thoroughly confused at the same time. Just two months after teasing us with news about The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the cable channel has already made plans to dissect the ladies of another city: Atlanta. Does this mean Jersey is no longer a go?

According to the network’s press release, the series will follow “five women from Atlanta’s social elite from NBA and NFL wives to sassy single moms as they juggle their burgeoning careers and busy home lives with the whirl of the south’s hottest city.”
