FOX Orders More Gordon Ramsay

FOX will be dishing out a third series featuring saucy Brit Gordon Ramsay. In addition to his duties at Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay will soon be starring in MasterChef.

In the series, non-professional chefs will attempt to create dishes that Ramsay approves - a hard enough task even for the greatest cooks in the world. Expect swearing to ensue. Watch Ramsay destroying a chef in the clip above - but beware of the graphic language.

Kate Gosselin Admits to Treating Jon Badly

TLC reality star and media target sponge Kate Gosselin recently admitted in an interview that she’s not proud of how she treated Jon.

“I was very hard on him and I would never deny that. I felt very much like a lot of weight rested on my shoulders… I was wrong to treat him that way. Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No.”

Should we still be caring about these two? The way that they treat each other seems like they’re meant to be.

GSN Spotlights Carnie Wilson

She’s currently appearing on GSN as the host of the newly revamped Newlywed Game, formerly made famous in past decades by Bob Eubanks. Now, the network will try a reality style they’ve never attempted before: they’re going to spotlight Carnie’s behind-the-scenes life.

Sweet! Top Chef Does Desserts

Bravo has recently picked up a Top Chef spin-off, titled Top Chef: Just Desserts. Casting is underway, and the show is expected to air in 2010 after production wraps.

Though Top Chef offers great reality TV fare, desserts aren’t often on the menu. “Their Achilles heel is usually the desserts,” Frances Berwick, Bravo executive Vice President and general manager, admitted. “We’ve been thinking it would be fun to do a Top Chef with experienced pastry chefs. We’ve had a few pastry chefs…but they haven’t gone too far. It’s just a different skill.”

One that will finally have its own Top Chef spotlight, apparently. No hosts or judges for the show have been revealed, but it’s all supposed to come together in upcoming weeks.

Larry Birkhead Looks for Love…on TV

Dannielynn’s daddy must be feeling a little lonely…or fame-hungry. Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, is in negotiations to join the cast of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker. Talk about being out of your own league.

“I knew Anna Nicole. I fixed her up back in the day, and I want that child to have a great mom,” reality star Patti Stanger said of Smith and daughter Dannielynn.

This begs a question: whom did Stanger hook Smith up with? The woman’s dating record is sad at best.

No Reality TV for Michael Jackson’s Children

Despite a report claiming Michael Jackson’s three children would soon become reality stars, the trio’s legal guardian says that simply isn’t so.

In the upcoming A&E series, The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, the cameras will follow the surviving Jackson 5 members and will also include 19 other relatives with the same last name. Even though Janet and her mother are both expected to be involved, Katherine tells TMZ that the formerly masked Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket will not.

Food Network’s Next Big Reality Twist

Imagine how delighted seven seasons’ worth of contestants would be if Simon Cowell stepped onto the Idol stage to sing - and, subsequently, be judged. On Season 2 of Food Network’s The Next Iron Chef, a hard-to-please judge will most certainly be on the set…but not to offer her critique.

Starting Sunday, Chopped‘s Amanda Freitag will be stepping out from behind the big table to stand under the harsh glare of criticism herself. Freitag is bucking to be The Next Iron Chef, the second the series has picked through reality TV competition. Michael Symon was the first to win the honor; he has gone on to enjoy a 7-2-1 winning record in Kitchen Stadium.

Jon Gosselin Halts TLC Taping

He posted a sign, sent some letters and somehow managed to put a complete stop to one of cable’s favorite reality shows. He’s Jon Gosselin, and he’s going to remain in the center of a media maelstrom no matter how many feathers he’s got to ruffle.

Attorney Mark Jay Heller sent a letter to the network stating that “no production crews are to enter Jon’s family home for any reason.” But that’s only the beginning of it…

Shannen Doherty Changes Her Image in New Series

Shannen Doherty’s non-bitchy side will be displayed on an upcoming reality series, tentatively titled Shannen.

According to gossip, Doherty has already met with several networks. The series itself is supposed to show how funny Shannen is, and could even contain scripted elements that belie its reality premise.

So far, Doherty is keeping pretty quiet about the project. “I’ll be back on TV very soon,” she recently hinted to the press. “There will be an announcement very soon. I promise you that.”

This will be the first Shannen-centric series since the ill-fated Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty (2006) on Oxygen.

Is Kara DioGuardi Working on New Reality Show?

According to New York Magazine, Kara DioGuardi is looking for a home for her new reality show. Gossip has it that her show Dropped will bestow a precious second chance on contestants.

While promoting the show and looking for a network to pick it up, DioGuardi has mentioned that such artists as Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga were all dropped by their record labels in the past. She also points out that she, Kara DioGuardi, was also dropped at one point.
