Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith on 'The Tonight Show'

Robert DeNiro, Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan and Mariah Carey were among the surprise guests on Jimmy Fallon's debut Tonight Show last night. The former Saturday Night Live star anchored his first show from New York and took the time to mock a "buddy" who bet him he would never land the job, prompting a host of famous faces to come out and honor the bet.

"To my buddy who said that I'd never be the host of The Tonight Show - and you know who you are - you owe me a hundred bucks, buddy," he said. DeNiro then walked through the curtains and handed the host a $100 bill, and was quickly followed by Tina Fey, Joe Namath, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mariah - who appeared to pull her $100 from her cleavage - Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogen, Lindsay , Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Gaga, and Stephen Colbert, who emptied $100 in pennies over Jimmy's head.

Golden Globe statues

For the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards, NBC recruited funnyman to host the ceremony for the second year in a row. But will Gervais be the only name making a return appearance at the microphone tonight?

Last year, Michael C. Hall, Alec Baldwin, Julianna Margulies and Toni Collette nabbed acting wins in the Television category. Could we see repeat victories for all four nominees?

At the 2010 event, Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart) bested Colin Firth (A Single Man) for Best Actor in a Drama. Will this be the year that Colin Firth (The King's Speech) takes the statue from Bridges (True Grit)?

Follow our live coverage after the jump and get all of the answers to the above questions and more!

Robert De Niro, Jeff Bridges and Paul McCartney Headed to SNL

Last month, Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway fronted one of the most successful Saturday Night Live broadcasts of the season. Will Oscar winners Robert De Niro and and Jeff Bridges be able to keep top that?

During the month of December, we will see some of Hollywood's biggest A-listers take over that NBC stage. Little Focker's De Niro -- who'll be making his third visit to the program -- will kick it all off this weekend with help from musical guest .

Breaking Bad

(You can view TV Envy’s Midseason Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY 3/2)
  • The Bachelor (ABC, 8pm):  “It’s down to Melissa and Molly as Jason bestows the final rose.” But first, two more quick trips to the hot tub.
  • Rules of Engagement (CBS, 9:30pm):  Season premiere. “Audrey learns Russell is a closet Broadway musical fan, and uses the knowledge to blackmail him for theater tickets.” Tip: Blackmail is best used when Broadway shows aren’t closing.
  • CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm):  “A murder occurs onboard a yacht belonging to high-powered attorney Derek Powell (Sean Combs).” Blood at Diddy’s “White Party”? That’s gonna stain.
  • Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC, 12:30am):  “Jimmy Fallon’s inaugural show features Robert De Niro and Justin Timberlake.” has been working for years to get both these guys.

Jimmy Fallon’s First Guests Unveiled

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Late Night, Talk Shows, NBC,

Jimmy KimmelYesterday’s Conan O’Brien finale (the New York version) officially kicked off the countdown for his successor’s premiere.

Beginning next month, a host of A-list celebrities will help launch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. (NBC star), Donald Trump (NBC star), Drew Barrymore (his Fever Pitch costar) and Cameron Diaz (why??) are among the names slated for Week 1.

Unfortunately, the SNL vet has elected to get the ball rolling with one of the most difficult interviewees out there: Robert De Niro. (I strongly suggest Fallon dissect Brian Williams’ awkward attempt first.)

Late Night debuts @ 12:30 A.M. on March 2nd.
