-Spike TV has ordered a pilot about a golfer (John Schneider) and his sex-crazed caddy…named Tiger. It’s not known who’ll play John’s buddy in Back Nine.
-Tina Fey’s admits her Saturday Night Live hosting gig this April will likely include a Sarah Palin sketch. At least there’ll be one funny part that night.
-Nadya Suleman will be leaving her babies behind to co-host The View next Wednesday. The noise may send the Octomom running back home.
-Meanwhile, Barbara Walters has decided that her upcoming Oscars special will be her last. Having to keep ten Best Film names straight is more than she can handle.
-Stewart Bailey, a former co-executive producer on the Daily Show, is now in charge of helping Last Call with Carson Daly. It’s a shame to see talent like that wasted.

VIDEO: Sarah Palin Upset Over Family Guy Episode

Apparently Sarah Palin didn’t realize things done at “FOX” can be upsetting to some.
During Sunday night’s Family Guy episode, Chris Griffin went on a date with someone Stewie referred to as “Down syndrome girl.” While that comment alone would have been enough to get Palin’s family talking, it’s a reveal Chris’ crush made during dinner that put the controversy over the top: “My dad’s an accountant and my mom is the former governor of Alaska.”
Not pleased with the obvious connection to her special needs son, Sarah - a FOX News contributor - felt compelled to respond on both her Facebook page and on The O’Reilly Factor.

It’s just been announced that Alaska’s former governor has taken on a new position in her post-political career. The author of the best-selling memoir Going Rogue will now become a contributor on FOX News.
Although Sarah won’t be appearing as part of a regular program, she will reportedly front a series that will air on an occasional basis. Her deal with the network is slated to last for several years.
No word at this time how much Palin will be paid per wink.

Oprah Snags Sarah Palin Interview

Oh what a difference a year makes.
Two of the biggest female names of 2008 will finally be sitting down for a chat in 2009. Mark your calendars: November 16 will be the date Sarah Palin has her first one-on-one with Oprah Winfrey.
Before last November’s elections, Oprah - who publicly endorsed Barack Obama - had been accused of showing favoritism because she chose not to welcome the VP candidate on her show. Winfrey’s reason? She didn’t want to use her program as a political platform. (Although President Obama had been a guest on her program, his appearances came before he decided to run for office.) Unfortunately, Oprah’s explanation didn’t satisfy many of her female fans.

Could the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards be another year for firsts?
Around this same time last September, the execs of basic cable were thrilled to see one of their own finally win the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series (Mad Men). Meanwhile, producers of reality fare saw an award given to one of their hosts (Jeff Probst). So which other category could be covered during this round? Animation.
For the first time since 1961 (when The Flintstones were still on air), an animated program has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series. So will Family Guy finally go where The Simpsons has never gone before? Not if the six other contenders have anything to say about it!
So who won? Who lost? Which funnyman took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor since Jeremy Piven wasn’t even nominated? Read our West Coast play-by-play account of this evening’s telecast and find out!

David Letterman Issues Apology to Sarah Palin
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Late Night, Talk Shows, CBS, News,
The Sarah Palin/David Letterman controversy has just entered its next and, hopefully, final phase.
On tonight’s Late Show with David Letterman, the host does what many had felt he should have done last week—apologize sincerely to the Alaskan governor. The move comes after increased criticism about his questionable jokes and a scathing response from Palin herself. (The network also lost an advertiser from its website.)
Although a video clip will most likely be made available later, you can read CBS’ transcript of Letterman’s remarks after the jump.
