  • Rules of Engagement (CBS, 9:30pm):  Season premiere. “Audrey learns Russell is a closet Broadway musical fan, and uses the knowledge to blackmail him for theater tickets.” Tip: Blackmail is best used when Broadway shows aren’t closing.
  • CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm):  “A murder occurs onboard a yacht belonging to high-powered attorney Derek Powell (Sean Combs).” Blood at Diddy’s “White Party”? That’s gonna stain.

MONDAY 2/2)
  • Chuck (NBC, 8pm):  “In a 3-D edition, global rock star Tyler Martin () is marked for murder, so the agents kidnap the musician to discover who’s behind the deadly plot.”  Unfortunately, they don’t understand his “My-plane-crashed-on-an-island-and-there-were-these-Others” story either.
  • Heroes (NBC, 9pm):  “The newly powerless Hiro resolves to help Ando become a true superhero.” Sorry, Suresh. You’re stuck with creating powers for yourself.

Celebrity Rehab Presents: More Misbehaving Celebs

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Cable, Gossip,

That’s right: VH1’s Celebrity Rehab spin-off, , premiered last night. All the faces but one were very familiar to faithful Rehab viewers, and sadly little else has changed, either.

Most of the Sober House participants were released from Rehab just one week prior to their arrival in a clean living “facility” (which, oh yeah, is really a beautiful mansion in the Hollywood Hills). But for some, perhaps one week was a little too long.

Amber Smith, Mary Carey, Shifty Binzer, Nikki McKibbin and Rodney King arrived at the house without incident. , ex-Guns n Roses drummer, did not. Adler showed up very obviously loaded (that’s slang for under the influence of substances) and packing drug paraphernalia. House manager Jennifer Gimenez, freaked out, called Dr. Drew Pinksy.

MONDAY 1/12)
  • 24 (FOX, 8pm):  “Jack is released from his Senate subcommittee hearing to help with the domestic threat and the investigation into former colleague Tony Almeida.” I can’t imagine what he would do to just to get out of jury duty.
  • Kyle XY (ABC Family, 9pm):  Season 3 premiere. “Lori, Declan, Josh and Andy deal with the choices they made at the prom.” Whatever happens at prom, stays at prom.
  • Man vs. Wild (Discovery, 10pm):  “An adventure in the jungles of Belize has the host reckoning with a 9-foot boa constrictor and a dangerous white-water river.” The longer the snake, the more skin to pee in.

Rehab’s Steven Adler Ordered Back to Rehab

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Cable, News,

DescriptionDespite his recent graduation from (the Season 2 finale aired on Thursday night) and participation in a Sober Living environment (the VH1 spinoff, Sober House, premieres next month), rocker Steven Adler can’t seem to catch a break.

Yesterday the former Guns N’ Roses drummer was ordered by an LA court commissioner to enter yet another rehab facility. The sentence stemmed from an incident back in July of this year. At that time the 43-year-old was arrested for drug possession and for being under the influence of drugs. He was also wanted for an outstanding warrant. By entering a new treatment program, Adler is spared any jail time.

Ironically, Steven was unable to attend his original court date last week because he was still wrapping up his stay at Sober House. He completed his stint just prior to Friday’s appearance.

Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House - also featuring Rodney King, Nikki McKibbin, Amber Smith, Seth Binzer and Mary Carey and - debuts Thursday, January 15 @ 10:00.
