MONDAY (6/22)

  • Jon & Kate Plus Eight (TLC, 9pm):  Jon & Kate make some life-changing decisions. Well, Kate technically made the decision; Jon just didn’t want to argue.
  • Charm School (VH1, 9pm):  Season premiere. “Former contestants from VH1 reality shows work for charity (and a chance to win $100,000).” No good deed comes without incentives.
  • Make It or Break It (ABC Family, 9pm):  Series premiere. “In this drama focusing on the lives of teen gymnasts who strive to make it to the Olympics, new girl Emily Kmetko begins training alongside veterans who are both impressed with and threatened by her.” This could bring a whole new definition to the term “punch front.”
  • Run’s House (MTV, 10pm):  “The family rallies around JoJo after he’s charged with marijuana possession.” This whole time they had a connection within the home.

(You can view TV Envy’s Programming Schedule here.)

MONDAY (6/8)

  • The Bachelorette (ABC, 8pm):  “When Jillian hears that three men might have girlfriends back at home, she cancels the pre-rose ceremony cocktail party.” And you thought your boyfriend was just on a business trip.
  • Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (Bravo, 10pm):  Season premiere. “The season opens with Kathy trying to move to a higher grade than the D-list.” Unfortunately, single billionaires only come once in a lifetime.
  • Weeds (Showtime, 10pm):  Season premiere. “Celia’s daughter discovers there’s not much interest - and money - in holding her mother hostage.” If the economy wasn’t so bad, Celia would have taken it personally.
  • Nurse Jackie (Showtime, 10:30pm):  Series premiere. “A black comedy centering on veteran New York City ER nurse Jackie Peyton (), who strives to juggle patients, coworkers and her own personal demons, including a substance-abuse problem.” Life as a mob wife doesn’t look so bad anymore.

Summer Dates for Big Brother Announced

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, News

If you’re secretly hoping Wipeout would up the drama and add wasteful food stunts, then may be the better option for you.

In just over a month, CBS - and a pregnant Julie Chen - will kick off the 11th installment (has there really been that many already?) of the program. As usual, the series will air thrice-weekly episodes. No word at this time what big twist the reality show will have up its sleeve this time around. Are half the contestants secretly transsexuals? Will bosses and fired employees find themselves competing against each other? Is one really a terminator?

Big Brother 11 premieres Thursday, July 9th at @ 8:00. The show will then air on Sundays @ 8:00 and Tuesdays @ 9:00.

Rod Blagojevich

Now you didn’t really think Hollywood could let all that hair go to waste, did ya?

Providing a federal judge gives the final approval, NBC’s new programming decision will likely receive more buzz than Leno’s 10:00 gig. It’s just been revealed that Rod Blagojevich may be a contestant on .

The reality series - based on a UK version - is set to debut later this summer. The live program would bring a list of celebrities to a Costa Rican jungle where they must endure various tests to raise money for charity. Celebrity would air several days a week (a la Big Brother) during the month of June.

Before Rod can solidify a spot on the show, the impeached Illinois governor must first get travel approval from the judge in his corruption case. If he gets the thumbs up, audiences can begin monitoring his coif on June 1.
