On yesterday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, the nine amateur performers were assigned either the sexy Samba or the fiery Tango. By night’s end:
- The show’s two leaders scored less than they did last week. Warren earned a 22 (down from 25) for his Samba while Brooke got a 26 (down from a 28) for her Samba.
- Three performers hit new highs. Lance racked up a 26 (Tango), Susan reached a 24 (Tango) while Cloris achieved a 22 (Tango).
- Speaking of Leachman, this was the first time she had ever seen a mark above 20.
- Rocco DiSpirito was the only person to not score above a 19. (He was given an 18 for his Samba.)

Last Tuesday, chef Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff came very close to being eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. But thanks to Misty May-Treanor’s nasty accident, the couple was given another chance to stay in the game.
Unfortunately, the remaining 9 pairs were not able to write off Week 3 completely. The scores from this Monday’s dances are going to be combined with last week’s numbers to determine Week 4’s elimination.
So after tonight’s Samba and Tango performances, were Rocco and Karina still likely to leave next? Read on!

Dancing with the Stars 6: Week 3 Loser

For its second results show, Dancing with the Stars: Season 6 went back to the solo elimination system. Misery may love company, but only one couple will end up getting the boot from this point on.
If the choice was based on Monday’s scores alone, Marissa Jaret Winokur (19) would have been the one to go. The Broadway performer was the only person - and that includes Adam Carolla - who failed to surpass 20 points yesterday. But viewers taking all three past dances into account would have probably put either Adam or Steve on the block. Those two men averaged only 18.3 points per performance.

Two down, ten to go. Last week on the Dancing with the Stars: Season 6, the celebrities were tasked with mastering either the Quickstep or the Mambo. Those results helped in eliminating magician Penn Jillette and tennis star Monica Seles the following day.
This week, the amateurs took on either the fiery Tango or the fast-paced Jive. Which performers eased into their dance like a fish to water and which ones simply got in over their heads? Read on!

Ghost Hunters: Season Four Begins

Ghost Hunters International, the European version of SciFi Channel’s popular Ghost Hunters series, was an interesting diversion (and a very lucrative one for the channel), but I must admit I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for the “real” Ghost Hunters to start. Wednesday night, my wait will finally end
Jason, Grant, and the TAPS team are back on the hunt again, and the fourth season of the show will premiere March 5 at 9 pm. The team will trek out to Philadelphia to investigate Fort Mifflin and supposed paranormal happenings located within. Those TAPS members absent from the International episodes - including Steve and Tango - will finally be back on the small screen with more debunking, disproving, and possible ghost-finding. It all starts tonight!

Dancing With The Stars: Week 9 Loser
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars
Last night’s competition was one for the Dancing With The Stars record books. A whopping eighteen 10’s were handed out by the judges. Monday’s Top Two, Helio Castroneves and Melanie Brown, each received six of those.
In fact, the only couple to not receive a 30 for one of their performances yesterday was Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts. But who needs points when they have the votes? Even though the judges finally felt that Jennie Garth tapped into her star potential last night, the 90210 star just didn’t have the wattage to outshine America’s sweetheart. As soon as Marie was announced safe for next week’s finals, it was obvious that Garth would be the next go.
So will Osmond’s strong fan base help her win the coveted disco ball after next week’s finals? Will the current fascination with The Spice Girls help boost Melanie Brown’s profile? Or will Helio wipe both ladies away with his charming smile alone? Place your bets now!

In tonight’s semi-finals, the final four couples got to choose the dance styles (one ballroom, one Latin) they wanted to perform. Read on to see how they fared:
MARIE OSMOND (partner Jonathan Roberts)
(Dance: Quickstep/ Song: ‘Good Morning’)
It was a very entertaining and charming piece; it looked like it was stripped right out of ‘Singin’ in the Rain’. They did a great job covering the floor with their sweeping performance.
Len said Marie brought joy and entertainment. He thought the performance was perfect. Bruno said the choreography was filled with plenty of content. Carrie Ann thought it was wonderful; she said Marie really upped her game. Score: 10/10/9 (29)
MELANIE BROWN (partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy)
(Dance: Viennese Waltz/ Song: ‘Somebody to Love’)
Melanie looked gorgeous in her flowing dress; it perfectly matched her graceful and elegant performance. Not only did she have great lines, but she also pulled off an amazing series of splits across the floor!
Bruno thought the dance was fast, precise and sexy. Carrie Ann said Melanie’s performance gave her chills. She thought Mel and Maks moved as one. Len said the performance was fabulously clever. Score: 10/10/10 (30) (Their 3rd perfect score of the competition.)
