Thursday Ratings: NBC Showered with Good News

Hey NBC - primetime might actually survive in the post-Jay Leno world after all. Last night’s arrival of Jim and Pam’s baby on The Office delivered something the network hadn’t seen before, a victory over Grey’s Anatomy in the demos. That one-hour special lead into another nice win for the network. The Marriage Ref‘s time slot debut also defeated the competition in the 18-49s.

MONDAY (2/22)
  • Life Unexpected (CW, 9pm):  “Lux does her best to get Jones to drop the charges against Bug.” Yes, he may be creepy and ugly—but calling him dirty is simply unfair.
  • Damages (FX, 10pm):  “A Hewes & Shayes job candidate has questions for Ellen about Patty.” Question #1: What are the signs you’ll either be fired…or killed?
  • Men of a Certain Age (TNT, 10pm):  Season finale. “Owen sees a glimmer of hope when he lands work at a rival dealership.” Season 2 will see Owen crawling back when his Toyota job abruptly ends.

NBC Lays Out Post-Leno Schedule

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Reality, NBC,

Law & Order: SVUAlthough it’s still unclear exactly when Conan O’Brien will finally depart The Tonight Show (it’s believed his last day will be January 22), we do know what will air in place of Jay Leno’s soon-to-be-old time slot.

As NBC Universal TV chairman Jeff Gaspin stated earlier, the network will not be introducing five new dramas to that time period. Instead, the network has basically reshuffled programs already placed on their midseason schedule.

Starting Monday, March 1, these are the shows that will air at 10:00: (a move from Friday time slot), Parenthood, Law & Order: SVU (originals will move to later time slot), The Marriage Ref and Dateline NBC.
