Khloe and Lamar Reality Series to End

Khloe and Lamar is to end after two seasons. Stars Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom have reportedly decided against continuing with their spin-off reality show because the basketball player - who left the Dallas Mavericks earlier this month - wants to focus on getting his career back on track, sources told gossip website TMZ.
Lamar is currently listed as inactive by the Mavericks, but is hoping for a trade at the end of the season, so the couple are returning to Los Angeles, where the sportsman plans to concentrate on getting back to full fitness.

Charlie Sheen Rant Cancels Two and Half Men Production

Charlie Sheen isn’t finished with the Two and Half Men producers -- not by a long shot. The troubled actor engaged in a well-publicized rant against the minds behind his CBS show in which he called Chuck Lorre a “stupid, stupid little man,” along with a few other things.
CBS immediately canceled production of the show for the reminder of the season, and potentially all eternity. Sheen, who is currently in the Bahamas, turned to TMZ again to respond to the news. In an open letter, he said Lorre “tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me.”

Katherine Jackson to Appear on Oprah?

TMZ spotted Oprah Winfrey’s production crew outside the Jackson home over the weekend. The workers, who arrived in several trucks and two SUVs, confirmed that they were there doing “an Oprah shoot.”
The crew ordered pizzas and received a parking ticket while inside the home. They stayed briefly, then packed up and left.
Oprah did not make an appearance, so it’s likely the team was shooting an introductory segment for an eventual Katherine Jackson interview.

Sullied TV Bounty Hunter To Get Second Chance on A&E?

Cats may not be the only animals with 9 lives. It appears dogs get second chances too. At least that is what TMZ is reporting about sullied TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman.
An A&E network official confirmed to TMZ that his hugely popular reality show will be going back into production as soon as possible in Hawaii. TMZ reports that supporting people like makeup artists and camera crews have been hired in preparation for the show.
Production of Dog The Bounty Hunter was suspended indefinitely last November after the National Enquirer got a hold of two audiotapes that featured Chapman on a racially-offensive tirade. On the tapes, the 55-year old Chapman is heard using the “N word” several times and demanding that his son break-up with his African American girlfriend or be fired from family bail bond business. A&E’s original decision to suspend production of the show came, in part, because of growing pressure from sponsors. No word if that part of the story has been resolved.

Britney Spears Out…and Talking to Dr. Phil?

Despite being placed on what was believed to be a 72-hour hold, Britney Spears was quietly discharged from Cedars-Sinai this morning. Although it is widely believed the troubled star should be forced to seek some type of help, the hospital had no choice but to release her. They couldn’t keep Spears against her will unless they thought she might physically harm herself. (She was not technically considered ‘suicidal’ when she was admitted to begin with.)
But fans concerned for her well-being shouldn’t worry—Dr. Phil McGraw has taken it upon himself to make sure Britney knows people care. The talk show host had a private conversation with the Spears this morning as she was being discharged from the hospital. Here is the exclusive statement he made to Entertainment Tonight:
“My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”

Is Britney Spears Potentially Insane?

Though Carole Lieberman of UCLA won’t be the first to speculate on the sanity of Miss Spears, her “mental illness report card” is still being given attention by US Weekly and other media outlets. Frankly, I say she’s anything but insane, and instead savvy to the way the press works. Citing mood swings, an inability to cope with daily life, displays of uncaring feelings, poor sleeping and dietary patterns and excess anxiety, the report says that Spears may in fact have psychological troubles. That would make most of America completely insane.
In other Britney Spears news, the lawyer working for ex-hubby Kevin Federline has issued a subpoena to TMZ. Let me rephrase that. An online gossip site is going to be the source of K-Fed’s next legal maneuver. I’m trying to find some way to make this seem less silly…it just isn’t possible. The story on TMZ showed Brit, kids in tow, running a red light in her vehicle while doing something, possibly texting, on her mobile phone. Though K-Fed’s lawyer requested that Britney be prohibited from driving with the kids in the car, she is well within her legal right to do so. At least, right now she is.
If evidence from TMZ starts getting allowed in court, I suppose it’s possible Britney could end up going insane.
