On Gear Live: Samsung S95C: The OLED TV You Can’t Afford (to Ignore!)

This Week on TV (7/19-7/25)

MONDAY (7/19)
  • Behind the Music (VH1, 8pm):  “ is profiled through interviews and archival clips. The R&B star discusses his relationship with TLC’s Chilli.” I’d hate to say things are still “chilly” between them, but…
  • Rizzoli & Isles (TNT, 10pm):  “Jane clashes with her new boss (Donnie Wahlberg).” You have to hang tough with that guy.
  • True Beauty (ABC, 10pm):  Season finale. “The three beauties left are paired with celebrities to party the night away. They then don’t get to sleep it off, but instead must film a commercial about Las Vegas. One player folds like a house of cards from the sleep deprivation.” Beauty sleep is for suckers who can’t afford plastic surgery.

  • True Beauty (ABC, 10pm):  “Penn and Teller teach the contestants a magic trick, but swear them to secrecy on how it’s done. Will anyone give it up when questioned by a reporter?” More importantly: Will they give up the Everlasting Gobstopper?
  • Mega Bites (TLC, 10pm):  “A chef teams up with an engineer and a food scientist to build the world’s largest Rice Krispies Treat.” The bomb squad was mistakenly dispatched after reports of large snaps, crackles and pops.

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, HBO, News, Video,

If you were confused by the first trailer for True Blood‘s upcoming third season, perhaps this new, extended one can provide some insight…

I, for one, am extremely relieved to know somewhat who the bearded guy on the bed with Sookie is. Will Jason actually do something productive this season? Perhaps most importantly, who can resist a trailer with so much Eric?

Fans can catch the HBO season premiere on June 13.

Chuck‘s post-Super Bowl boost disappeared in just a matter of weeks. Back on February 2nd, the show had its largest audience of the season. Yesterday, the program hit a series low. The Bachelor, in the meantime, hit another season high last night.
