MONDAY (11/29)
- 90210 (CW, 8 P.M.): "Dixon and Annie sign Debbie up for online dating, but she ends up with Ryan during a date." The dating pool in their zip code is surprisingly small.
- Giuliana & Bill (Style, 10 P.M.): "Giuliana encourages her niece to be a model and the encounter rekindle's Giuliana's desire to become a mom." She never quite understood the whole 'Stage Mom' thing until now.
- Hoarders (A&E, 10 P.M.): "A husband sleeps in his car because his wife's hoarding is so bad that he has no room in the house." The first husband in is the first husband squeezed out.

VIDEO: Did FOX, ABC Ban Cleavage-Filled Commercial?
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, ABC, FOX, American Idol, Commercials, Dancing With The Stars, Gossip, Rumors, Video,
Although the world should be used to seeing women parading around in their bras by now, there’s one thing Lane Bryant commercials have that Victoria’s Secret spots don’t: large breasts.
And when you have large breasts, you get lots of cleavage. And when you have lots of cleavage, you supposedly get banned by ABC and FOX.
According to Lane Bryant, a clothing company for full-figured women, both Victoria’s Secret-friendly networks rejected requests to air the ad. “It certainly appears to be discrimination against full-sized women,” one source told the New York Post. A Lane Bryant rep added. “There’s no difference other than they’re bigger girls.”
Needless to say, these accusations now have ABC and FOX both crying foul.

Tuesday Ratings: ABC was the Forgotten
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Specials, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Scrubs, So You Think You Can Dance,
Last night’s presidential address did little for ABC but a lot for NBC. Yesterday’s episode of The Biggest Loser gave its network a win in the demos. (An absent Jay Leno also helped in that matter.) Meanwhile, a post-DWTS ABC placed fourth in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- The presidential address (1.9/6 in 18-49) pulled in 10.2 million for CBS.
- NBC’s political coverage (2.1/6) raised 8.1 million.
- Approximately 7.5 million watched President Obama on ABC (1.7/5).
- FOX (1.8/5) catered to 4.6 million.
- 90210 (1.1/3) settled for 2.2 million.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Kids, Prime Time, Reality, Specials, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Ratings,
Despite a nice showing for NBC’s Muppets special, audiences had their sights set on criminals last night. CBS was #1 with the viewers and the demos once again.
8pm
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7.5 million, 2.0/6 in 18-49) was down 800,000; Gary Unmarried (7.6 million, 2.3/7) only lost 400,000.
- Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa (7.4 million, 2.4/7) had the hour’s best demos.
- Secret Millionaire (6.7 million, 2.2/7) gave up a 1/2 million.
- The possible last episode of Pushing Daisies (4.8 million, 1.6/5) pushed away 200,000.
- CW’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show* (0.9/3) had 2.4 million glued to their television.

Casting Corner: The Simpsons, Lost, My Name is Earl and More
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Animation, Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, FOX, NBC, Lost, My Name Is Earl,
Here’s a quick look at some of the casting announcements made recently:
The Simpsons: For the 20th season of The Simpsons, young Maggie will undergo an interesting transformation. Sixteen years ago, the binky-sucker uttered her first word with the help of screen legend Elizabeth Taylor. In an episode to air sometime next year, an adult Maggie will be voiced by a different Oscar winner: Jodie Foster. And word has it, she’ll be saying more than just “Daddy.”

This Week on TV (12/3-12/9)

MONDAY (12/3)
- The Closer (TNT, 8pm): The special two-hour holiday episode brings Brenda’s parents into the investigative fold. Nothing says Christmas like talking blood with your blood.
- Heroes (NBC, 9pm): (NOTE: This is the last new episode left.) ‘Peter squares off against former friends thanks to Adam’s confusing story about the Shanti virus.’ He shouldn’t fault Adam; the confusing storyline is to blame.
- K-Ville (FOX, 9pm): ‘Boulet and Cobb investigate an insurance adjuster’s murder.’ As if there weren’t enough people in New Orleans with a motive.
- Life (NBC, 10pm): (First half of the two-parter; 2nd half airs Wednesday). ‘Evidence points to Reese’s father in the murders that sent Crews to prison.’ I’m guessing this won’t be resolved anytime soon…otherwise, we wouldn’t have a show.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Lineup Announced
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars, Announcements,
The official lineup for ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars was announced this morning on Good Morning America. And despite the ‘leaked’ list you might have heard about this week, here is the correct list as presented by Apolo Ohno, Carrie Ann Inaba and host Tom Bergeron:
- Melanie Brown (a.k.a. ‘Scary Spice’) - Baby momma of Eddie Murphy’s latest child.
- Sabrina Bryan - ‘Cheetah’ girl (I don’t want to know what that means).
- Jennie Garth - 90210 alum #
12 (if you include Ian Ziering from last season) - Josie Maran - The supermodel of the female contestants. I’m already voting against her.
- Marie Osmond - She’s a little bit country.
- Jane Seymour - Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman
- Helio Castroneves - He’s going to drive his partner all over the dance floor.
- Mark Cuban - If he doesn’t win, he’ll probably just buy the network.
- Cameron Mathison - A soap star from All My Children. As if ABC needed more publicity.
- Wayne Newton - Mr. Las Vegas will have to learn how to share a stage.
- Floyd Mayweather, Jr. - Apparently the producers felt all boxers could dance.
- Albert Reed - I hear he’s a model as well. I approve of this one.
