Glee: Britney/Brittany Episode Hits All the Right Notes

Tuesday night’s of Glee has been the most hyped episode of the season, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. John Stamos (who is henceforth known as Dr. Feelgood) was introduced into the series, Brittany’s last name was revealed and Miss Spears herself actually donned a Cheerios uniform.

Britney Spears watched the episode, along with millions of Gleeks, offering Twitter updates throughout. “Heather Morris is so cute!” She Tweeted at one point. “Brittany S. Pearce. Ha! She was so fun to work with and was really sweet in person,” Brit revealed.

“The Me Against the Music set looks just like the original. Santana [Naya Rivera] does a great Madonna impression,” Britney said a little later, when Santana and Brittany both underwent dental treatments, as provided by Dr. Carl (Stamos), to hallucinate the Britney Spears video.

On the Will and Emma front (Matthew Morrison and Jayma Mays), things aren’t looking great. The dentist boyfriend has an awesome car, he administers nitrous to patients and we have a sneaking suspicion that a Will vs. Dentist sing-off is looming on the horizon. Since Terri Schuster (Jessalyn Gilsig) popped up for a quick cameo to show us that she’s as nuts as ever, we can only advise Emma to run to Dr. Carl’s hot car and get out of William McKinley High as quick as she can.

On the Rachel/Finn front (Lea Michele, Cory Monteith), the pairing seems as strong as ever. Finn’s back on the football team, Artie is evidently on the team with him and Coach Biest has a heart of gold after all. Rachel sang her heart out to Finn, who has totally earned her devotion. But we’re still on Team Puckleberry, and if you saw the preview of next week’s action (Mark Salling-as-Puck singing Billy Joel), you know why.

Speaking of upcoming episodes, we’ve managed to confirm some old spoilers and find some new ones. This is your only warning!

Rumor confirmed! Big screen actress on Glee in November as a love interest for Will. Are we finally going to see Emma’s claws come out? We can only hope! Paltrow will sing three or four songs on the show, as we’ve got it on good authority that she sounds fantastic.

John Stamos may show off his dancing chops before Halloween, but you can rest assured you will definitely see him in action before October is out. The actor recently revealed that he’ll be doing quite a bit of dancing in the Rocky Horror episode, which will air near the famous fall holiday.
