SNL to Pick Up Three New Cast Members


The SNL revolving door is still turning. On the heels of , gossip hints that fans can expect to see three new faces when the new season debuts in the fall.

Taran Killam, who’s previous credits include appearances on Mad TV, Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother, will appear in the upcoming SNL season. The video above shows Taran performing improv with two other comics.


Paul Brittain is a Chicago-based improv comedian whose credits are largely confined to the city area, though he shows some promise in the above video clip.


Vanessa Bayer, also out of Chicago, is reported to be joining the cast as well. The above commercial is Bayer’s only national credit; her other projects are confined to Chicago improv theater and three very small film projects.

According to gossip, more casting changes may still come. Rumor says that Andy Samberg, Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis and Kenan Thompson haven’t yet had their contracts renewed and it’s anybody’s guess whether or not they’ll be returning to the show.
