CBS Not Renewing Jericho
Sorry, Jericho fans - your beloved show has officially come to the end of its run. CBS finally announced today what many had already anticipated: The program will not be coming back next year.
This news means next week’s episode will be the season - and series - finale. Thankfully, the producers were prepared for this possible development. Two endings were created in hopes of giving devoted viewers some sense of completion. Unfortunately, I don’t believe Jericho could have ever ended the way anyone wanted it to.
Read More Even though fans designed a campaign to get the show a second outing, this year’s ratings never reflected that level of passion. Just this Tuesday, the drama trailed far behind its competitors at 10 pm. (And that includes a repeat.)
While I seriously doubt another truckload of peanuts could make CBS reconsider once again, there’s always the chance it could be resurrected on cable.
