Sarah Jessica Parker and Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper says kissing Sarah Jessica Parker was a "nightmare." The Hangover actor guest starred in an episode of Sex and the City where he had to kiss Sarah's iconic character Carrie Bradshaw and he admits it was difficult because he was being told how to be intimate with her.

"I did Sex and the City and I was very nervous because I was driving a stick shift, a standard Porsche, and I thought I was going to bang Sarah Jessica Parker's head against the dashboard. That was all I was thinking about. And then right before we shot the scene, this guy came up and I think he said, 'SJP does no tongue. No tongue, man.' And I was like, 'Who's SJP?' So she kisses me, then straddles me in the front of the car and all I kept thinking about was keeping my tongue as far back in my mouth as possible. It was nightmare. But she wasn't - she was great."

Sarah Jessica Parker Says Carrie Was a Unique Character

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, HBO, Features, Gossip,

Carrie BradshawSarah Jessica Parker will never play another character like Carrie Bradshaw again.

The Sex And The City star has opened up about playing the famous role of Carrie Bradshaw in the hit TV series and two movies and admits that, although she loved playing the fashionista, she wouldn't choose to play a "flawed" individual with similar personality traits.

"I don't love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City. I loved Sex and the City's Carrie and I don't want to do the poor man's version of her. And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it's more reason to look in the other direction," Sarah explained, speaking in ELLE magazine's "Women in Hollywood" issue.

AnnaSophia Robb will be playing a young Carrie in spin-off show The Carrie Diaries, which airs from January 2013.

Matthew Broderick to Guest Star on Modern Family, SJP on Glee

Matthew BroderickMatthew Broderick will guest star on Modern Family.

The Tony Award-winning actor will join the comedy show as a "neurotic new friend" of regular character Phil Dunphy (played by Ty Burrell), ABC has confirmed. No other details of his character have been released.

Matthew's wife Sarah Jessica Parker will also appear on the small screen when she stars in the latest series of Glee. The former Sex and the City actress will be a "frazzled and eccentric" editor of an acclaimed fashion magazine's website when she makes her guest appearance in the musical drama and show bosses think she is "hilarious."

"Sarah Jessica Parker is gonna be running Vogue.com. That's sort of where we encounter this character, who's sort of frazzled, eccentric, hilarious. It's gonna be good," said the show's co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan.

Glee Plans Britney Spears Episode

Britney SpearsGlee is making another Britney Spears-themed episode.

The hits of the new X Factor judge - who made a cameo appearance on the show in 2010, drawing a record number of viewers for the musical drama - will be used in the second episode of the fourth series of the program later this year, but the singer herself will not be in any scenes. Unlike Britney's first Glee tribute, the new episode will not
focus on her namesake in the show, EW.com reports.

Eight Britney tracks will be used in the episode, which will air in its new Thursday night slot - immediately after The X Factor results show.

Meanwhile, Glee actor Chris Colfer has revealed that Sarah Jessica Parker's recently-announced cameo on the show will see her play a mentor to his character Kurt Hummell: "I just found out last night that Sarah Jessica Parker is coming on our show to be my mentor of sorts."

Kate Hudson will make a six-episode appearance in a role that is described as very "dance heavy" and believed to be a mentor to Rachel Berry, the character played by Lea Michele.

Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker Land Glee Roles

Kate HudsonKate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker are to appear in Glee.

The actresses will both appear in the forthcoming fourth season of the TV musical drama series, though details of their roles are being kept under wraps. However, broadcaster Fox have confirmed the former Sex and the City star will appear in at least one episode, while Kate's storyline arc will last for six episodes.

The network also vowed the show - which experienced a drop in ratings during the current season, which ends on May 22 - is "poised for a creative renaissance" when it returns in a new Thursday night slot later in the year. Fox's entertainment president Kevin Reilly explained the program will become a "show within a show" following some of the McKinley High graduates as they attend a New York performing arts school, as well as introducing "some new faces" at the main Ohio educational establishment.

Oscars Fashion: Here’s Lookin’ At You, Movie Stars

Oscar Statuette

Sure, they look great when they’ve got costume directors, wardrobe designers and practically bottomless budgets on the set. But when movies are left to their own devices, some of them seem unable to complete the simple task of dressing themselves well. The winners have been announced in every category but one: best dressed.

Sex and the City Cast Visits Oprah

Sex and the City cast, Oprah

As FilmCrunch earlier reported, the ladies of Sex and the City will be making several stops to promote their upcoming movie.  Now we know of one more visit on their lengthy itineraries:  Oprah.

Come this Thursday (May 1), all four ladies - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon - and will be gabbing with the talk show queen.  That date will, of course, kick off a month filled with appearances for the May 30th premiere.

Will Oprah dare question Cattrall and Parker about the rumored discord between them?  Or will the hour be all about shoes and fashion?  Who cares?  It’s not like I won’t be watching anyway.
