MONDAY (11/15)
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8 p.m.): "The friends learn more about Robin's past as Canadian teen star Robin Sparkles, and they encourage her to reunite with her former costar, Jessica Glitter." The reunion will spark the return of another old frenemy: Becky Bedazzle.
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9 p.m.): "Berta takes a few days off and Charlie falls for the woman who replaces her." He often feels attracted to women he pays.
- Hoarders (A&E, 10 p.m.): "A man threatens his wife with divorce if she doesn't clean." She panicked when he said he would leave her with the assets.

Preview How I Met Your Mother’s New Robin Sparkles Video

Although it’s been a while since we’ve seen Robin Sparkles on American television (she was discovered back in November 2006), fans won’t have to wait much longer.
Come April 21, How I Met Your Mother‘s favorite Canadian pop star (a.k.a. Robin’s early years) will be showing us a much softer side. Here’s a preview of her Debbie Gibson-esque ballad “Sandcastles in the Sand.” (Check out the other ‘80s icons in the clip.)
If you haven’t had the chance to experience Robin’s breakout hit, “Let’s Go to the Mall”, you can see that video after the jump. Those wanting even more Sparkle can also learn about the acid wash loving singer through her MySpace page.

‘How I Met Your Mother’ Slap Bet Countdown

Fans of How I Met Your Mother could probably belt out the Robin Sparkes’ tune ‘Let’s Go To the Mall’ if asked. But the classic episode that introduced us to Robin’s Canadian pop star alter-ego was memorable for one other thing: the Slap Bet. Barney and Marshall (with Lily as commissioner) instituted the game when they were busy trying to discover Robin’s dirty secret. The loser (a.k.a Barney) would be slapped five times by the winner. The question was: Would he rather be slapped 5 times at once? Or would he rather have them spread out for an indefinite period of time? (Stupidly—Barney chose the latter).
Well those who enjoyed the first two smacks should be thrilled to know the remaining three are still on the table. To pique our interest, the producers of HIMYM have created a ‘Slap Countdown’ on the show’s website. So get yourself prepped for the slap heard round the world. (BTW, if you have difficulty doing the math—the timer is counting down to the Nov. 19th episode.)
