Thanks to a recent chat with singer/actor Billy Ray Cyrus, we were lucky to get the inside scoop on several upcoming projects. Is Hannah Montana really coming to an end next year? Find out what he had to tell TV Envy about Season 4 here. What does he have going on with Jackie Chan and George Lopez? Billy Ray talks about their upcoming movie, The Spy Next Door, and tells us what he brings into a fight.
Check out the scoop above and get details on Sandwich Swap ‘n’ Share, a program he is jointly involved in with both Hellmann’s and Best Foods. For every free virtual sandwich created on Facebook, 7 lunches will be donated to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief charity. Those who visit the site can also find information on how to bid on a private picnic with Billy Ray. (The prize will include attendance at one of his shows in Florida.)

Fore! Another Hit for the Golf Channel
Honestly, I didn’t know the channel existed. Even more, I didn’t know the Golf Channel is chock-full of reality shows, like The Big Break (currently celebrating several successful seasons). So it was with a dubious eye that I watched the brand-new Fore Inventors Only, a show hosted by Golf Channel alum Vince Cellini. For the past few weeks, each Tuesday at 10 pm I’ve found myself tuning in. First it was a little bit of a freak show – auditioning before a panel in an American Idol-esque set up, would-be inventors paraded their golfing devices in hopes of finding fame and acclaim. Some of these inventions were unwieldy, some silly, some totally nonsensical. But a few – okay, something like forty – made it through round one. And, before I knew what was happening, I was hooked. On a show that’s on the Golf Channel. Go figure.

Lost Moves to New Time
Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, ABC, American Idol, Lost, Ratings
Bad news for those of us who have an early bedtime. Starting in February, when Lost returns, it will be moving from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The move could potentially assist ABC with the difficulty it has had finding a show that retains a significant audience with Lost as the lead-in. By moving Lost to 10 p.m., the network can lead with a block of comedy and increase viewership with the 10:00 slot. Beginning on January 3rd, According to Jim will air at 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., followed by two new series, The Knights of Prosperity and In Case of Emergency. On January 24th, the night will lead with George Lopez, then According to Jim, Knights, and Emergency. The move also takes Lost out of competition with American Idol (which begins January 17th) and Criminal Minds (that just won the post-Super Bowl airing). It will be interesting to see how the comedy block ABC has lined up will fare against the tough competition. Lost returns on February 7th.
